October 2, 2025

“The drone attack leaves Russia no choice but to eliminate Zelenskyy and his cronies,” Medvedev said.

Today Russia accused Ukraine of trying to assassinate Putin in a drone attack on the Kremlin in Moscow and threatened to retaliate.

Earlier, Russian State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin demanded today, Wednesday, the use of weapons capable of deterring and destroying the Kiev regime.

He added in a statement on the Telegram messaging app that Russia should not negotiate with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy after the alleged attack, for which Kyiv has denied responsibility.

The United States said on Wednesday it was treating Russia’s statements with “great caution.

“I’ve seen the information. I can’t confirm it. We don’t know,” US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said, adding, “I treat anything that comes from the Kremlin very cautiously.”
