Kremlin attack

The Kremlin said on Wednesday it shot down two drones launched by Ukraine.

Zelenskyy said his country had not targeted Putin or the Russian capital, Moscow, stressing that the military was only fighting on Ukrainian soil.

Deputy head of Russia’s National Security Council Dmitry Medvedev has called for the Ukrainian president and his cronies to be “got rid of” after Putin’s residence was attacked by two drones. Medvedev said: “The drone attack leaves Russia no choice but to get rid of Zelenskyy and his associates.” In the same context, Russian State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin called for the use of weapons capable of deterring and destroying the Kiev regime.

Warning from the United States Embassy

On Wednesday evening, the US Embassy in Ukraine issued a warning to its citizens residing in the capital, Kiev, about the increased risk of Russian missile attacks.

She said that in light of the recent escalation of missiles across Ukraine and “incendiary rhetoric from Moscow”, the State Department is warning American citizens of the growing and continuing threat of attacks from missiles on Kiev.
