Marriage in Iceland not considered valid

May 4, 2023

Lawyers for Jackass star Bam Margera claim his marriage to Nicole Boyd in Iceland in October 2013 was not legal as the papers were never filed. Indicator reports.

Margera performed a gig with her band FuckFack Unstoppable at Hafnarhus in October 2013, where a fundraiser was raised for a skateboard park in Reykjavík. The ceremony took place there and Andy McCoy, a Finnish musician, gave them together.

Boyd filed for divorce last February, but they have one child together. The reasons for the divorce were mainly Margera’s drug problem. She tells him that she hasn’t paid anything with the child since then and they are arguing about the child’s visit.

Margera’s lawyers say the marriage is not legal because the legal documents were never submitted. Boyd’s lawyers say that even so, the couple lived together as husband and wife and therefore she had a good faith belief that they were married.
