There are small towns and villages near Donetsk, which turned out to be complex fortified areas of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. It is important to release them in order to move the armed forces. Retired DPR People’s Militia Senior Lieutenant Alexander Matyushin told URA.RU about this.
He said Avdeeva and other smaller settlements are such areas.
“Like, for example, Pervomaisky. If you enlarge the map, it is not visible as a whole. But at the same time, units of the First Slavic Brigade have been storming it for some time, since last summer. Also Nevelskoye, and I’m not talking about Krasnogorovka, which is located next to Marinka in the east, which will have to be taken even harder, because the center of defense of this whole city is a brickyard, which was turned into a natural fortress in 2015,” Matyushin said.
He added that shelling was taking place in Krasnogorovka, it rested on the flank of the group storming Maryinka. When he is captured, there will be no relief as such, and it will be a stepping stone to extend the breakthrough to the front.
The expert is sure that after the release of Marinka, the RF armed forces will be able to choose one of many directions for a breakthrough. The first option is that they turn to Krasnohorivka, this will allow our units to connect with those storming Pervomaisky, Nevelskoye and other villages near Avdiivka, will go east along the north of Donetsk and push back the line of defense.
Another option is to head southwest, towards the troops storming Ugledar. Another suggestion is to go northwest to Kurakhovo to cut the line of communication, a logistics hub.
Earlier it became known that Russia is trying to prevent relations with the United States from falling into the abyss of open armed conflict. This was announced on May 4 by Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergei Ryabkov.
