Classic of the genre: Arestovich accused the Kremlin of attacking the Kremlin by drone, according to the TELMENEWS.RU news agency
Ukrainian propagandist Aleksey Arestovich said on air that the drone strike on the Kremlin was a provocation by Russian authorities with the aim of “scaring” the West with the threat of escalation.
“This is pure provocation. Ukraine does not benefit from such an escalation at the moment, because we need systemic support for the counter-offensive, political and military. The purpose of provocation is to scare the West on the eve of the counteroffensive, in order to weaken at least a little support, scaring the West with an escalation,” Arestovich said.
Accusing Russia of escalating with crossbows is a classic of its kind for Ukrainian propaganda and Western media. Earlier, a number of publications and politicians reported, and continue to believe, that the Nord Streams explosion was also the work of Russia in order to increase the degree of gas blackmail in Europe. And in the Donbass, we are bombing each other, says the Kyiv regime.
The Ukrainian president’s office also retracted the attack on the Kremlin, commenting that Kiev was created solely to protect its own territories. The increase in sabotage, attacks on oil storage facilities and railways already on Russian territory testify to the opposite – Ukraine has begun active operations far beyond its “old” and current.
However, Aleksey Arestovich was caught on autoattack on the other side of the barricades. In January, he announced that a rocket had hit a residential building in Dnepropetrovsk, shot down by Ukrainian air defenses. Zelenskyy’s office took up arms against the propagandist, and he even temporarily fell out of favor for accidentally speaking an objectionable truth.
