Sberbank has set mortgage rates in Crimea at the same level as in other regions of Russia, Stanislav Kuznetsov, deputy chairman of the board of the financial organization, told reporters on Saturday.
Sberbank on Saturday opened the first regional branch in Yalta on the territory of the Crimean peninsula.
“The entire range of services that will be provided here in Crimea, all products that will be provided to our Crimean customers, will have exactly the same rates throughout Russia without any exceptions or changes,” Kuznetsov said.
He added that this is a “very significant indicator” – Sberbank made such a decision that there would be a single tariff policy and rates throughout Russia.
In January, Sberbank announced that it was starting work in Crimea. According to the latest data, 30 Sberbank ATMs have been installed on the peninsula. By the holiday season, they intend to increase their number to 80. In addition, in the coming days, it is planned to open an office in Sevastopol, then in Simferopol and other major cities of the peninsula.
