Sheshnag made of silver presented by a devotee of Andhra Pradesh to Lord Mahakal

Bhopal. A devotee from Andhra Pradesh presented a two and a half feet high silver sheshnag at the world famous Jyotirlinga Mahakal Temple on Sunday. It has been told that the cost of this Sheshnag of silver is about 6 lakh rupees. The serpent deity will be decorated on the head of Lord Mahakal at the time of daily adornment.

Moolchand Junwal, assistant administrator of the Mahakal Temple Committee, said that Shraddhalu Niwas Nalla, a resident of Andhra Pradesh, has presented Sheshnag made of 341 grams of silver to the Mahakal Temple Committee. He also told that in the presence of committee member Rampujari, Sheshnag was duly receipted after receiving the donation from the donor.

It is notable that the process of continuous donations from the devotees is going on in the Mahakal temple. Devotees coming from all over the country are providing gold and silver items in addition to cash in the temple.
