Tunisian media reported that an exchange of fire took place in the port of Djerba, after a security guard was found dead and his weapon was missing.
Local Mosaïque radio reported that a police officer was found dead in the port center of Djerba and that gunshots were heard.
There was no immediate clear official information from the Tunisian Ministry of the Interior on the source of the shooting.
