According to Hollywood tabloids, Disney is preparing to produce a sequel to the legendary comedy Freaky Friday in 2003.
But for fans of this pic, the news that Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis will reprise their roles is far more significant.
What will be the storyline of the sequel is not yet clear. Especially considering that twenty years ago Curtis, 44, was playing a mother, and now she’s sixty-four.
As for Lohan, she was a 15-year-old girl and at sixteen she was easy to play. Lindsey is now thirty-six.
As for the original film, it’s about a generational gap – Dr. Tess Coleman (Curtis) and her daughter Anna (Lohan).
