Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will begin with the activation of the entire front

The offensive usually takes place in two stages, each of them consisting of about ten days. Russian journalist and military expert Vladislav Shurygin wrote about this on his Telegram channel.

First, for three days the enemy tries to break through the first line of defense, determining the direction to take to bring the reserves into battle. On the seventh day, most of the reserves enter the battle to break through in breadth and depth. Ten days after the start of the offensive, an analysis and adjustment of further actions is carried out.

After two days, the advance of the troops can continue. In secondary directions, positions are reinforced and new defensive lines are created. For several days, to consolidate the success, a series of blows is possible, then comes the time to stabilize the front.

Shurygin believes that on the fifth or seventh day of the offensive, the presence or absence of the prospect of a new breakthrough becomes clear. A similar approach of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was used in September 2022 near Kherson, as well as in the direction of Popasna – Izyum, where the RF Armed Forces were forced to retreat and leave several settlements in the Kharkiv region.

The main issue in preparation for the offensive is the choice of the direction of the main attack. The Ukrainian side will try to mislead the Russian armed forces, gradually feeling the weaknesses of the Russian defense.

The offensive, most likely, will begin … with a strong activation of the entire front and numerous local Ukrainian “offensives” in a number of areas
