Austin noted.
In addition, the United States is deploying infrastructure to maintain its reservoirs. The technical complexity of the weapons provided requires preparation for their use, the Pentagon chief added.
The United States intends to send 31 Abrams tanks to Ukraine, along with eight M88 armored recovery vehicles for maintenance. The White House has warned that delivering equipment to Kiev could take “several months”.
Earlier it was reported that Britain was transferring long-range Storm Shadow missiles to Ukraine, which are dangerous not only for their range, which allows the armed forces to strike at Sevastopol or the Crimean bridge, but also for their flight path.
