New Delhi. In the last 24 hours, 1,511 active cases of corona infection have decreased in the country, due to which the total number of active cases has come down to 16,498 and 11 patients died in the same period.
Meanwhile, corona vaccination is also going on in the country and in this sequence, 1,636 people have been vaccinated in the last 24 hours. So far 2,20,66,89,993 people have been vaccinated in the country. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health on Saturday, the total number of infected people in the country has increased to 4,49,79,402.
At the same time, the number of dead has increased to 5,31,767. In the same period, the number of people recovering from corona infection has increased by 2,720 to reach 4,44,31,137. During the last 24 hours in the country, the number of active cases in Assam has increased the maximum by 11. Apart from this, six cases have increased in Jammu and Kashmir, three in Manipur, two in Nagaland, one in Meghalaya.
Apart from this, in the last 24 hours, the maximum decline of 522 corona cases has been registered in Kerala. In the same period 178 in Maharashtra, 161 in Rajasthan, 101 in Karnataka and other states Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Mizoram, Odisha, Puducherry, Punjab, A decrease in corona cases has been found in Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. Haryana, Delhi and Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra and Punjab have reported one death each due to the disease.
