What is the most beneficial policy for India in the world stage?

At present, this situation of the world has started appearing in which developed countries are on one side, while emerging countries including BRICS countries are on the other side. India’s role in the world is attention-grabbing. On the other hand, the confrontation between the major powers will last for a long time. So what is India’s role in the world stage? In the Ukraine crisis, emerging countries including Brazil, India, South Africa have refused to take sides with the West. Many developing countries were victims of colonial hegemony, and the end of the Western-dominated international order in a larger adjustment of the world order is not a bad thing for them. On the other hand, some former colonial master countries tried their best to instigate conflict among the developing countries in order to serve their strategic objective.

India is blessed with an ancient civilization and national pride, and economic growth will surely make India a powerful country. The world expects India to take a clear stand on several key issues. India should not become a tool or a pawn of big countries, but should stand on the side that serves the interests of most developing countries. At this point, India should adopt a global outlook, and especially not consider neighboring countries as obstacles to the attainment of its own strategic goals.

Indian leaders had proposed many times that India should be a great country, and that India should not play a secondary role in the world. This is because India suffered a lot under the British colonial rule. India is also facing many problems like political instability, religious conflicts, extremist and separatist activities. To achieve the strategic goal of national upliftment, India must unite forces around itself instead of falling into a state of protracted conflict with neighboring countries. It is most beneficial for India to handle relations with neighboring countries peacefully, jointly promote world multi-polarity and economic globalization, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
