The “oil price” website published a report confirming Qatar’s progress towards strengthening its presence in the Chinese as well as the European energy market, by working to expand the North Field and bring it to the production of 126 million tons per year of liquefied natural gas after about four years from now, and an increase estimated at 49 million tons annually, if the situation is compared to the volumes that Doha used to announce its production during the last stage, indicating the importance of this large difference in production in achieving the Qatari goals in expanding the global energy market in the near future, in areas that still need more natural gas. The historic time that it had with leading companies in the ship industry, which will certainly allow Doha to reach its products to various parts of the world, especially China, whose development plans require obtaining more energy, which it can obtain from Qatar, one of the leading countries in this field easily, by virtue of the relationship strong ties between the two countries. The report expects that Qatar’s exports of liquefied natural gas to Europe will significantly increase by 2027, which will witness a real presence of gas coming from Doha in the markets of the old continent, which the recent crisis between Russia and Ukraine taught it the need to turn to more energy financiers in the next stage, if It did not want to ensure its energy security and not fall into any shortage in the event of problems in some LNG exporters, a role that Doha can play with complete comfort, especially with the end of its expansion projects.
