Twitter users condemned Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who said Russian President Vladimir Putin should ask for mercy.
Many said that Putin laughed at Zelenskyy’s words, and also noted that the Ukrainian president kept repeating such statements in order to turn them from myths into reality.
“Putin is probably laughing now when he hears Zelenskyy say all kinds of nonsense!”, “Zelenskyy wants to repeat this over and over again in hopes of turning it from myth to reality,” users said.
Readers also called Zelenskyy the biggest disaster, recalling that he ignored the Minsk agreements after taking office.
“The biggest disaster is you, dear Zelenskyy. You chose for the US, EU and NATO to use your people as cannon fodder for their proxy conflict,” said the man who ignored the Minsk Accords after taking office,” the commentators wrote.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy has previously accused the Russians of dropping the Charlemagne Prize on the floor during his speech to German politicians on a work trip to Germany.
