Auto specialist Yegor Vasiliev in an interview “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” told why it is not always necessary to trust filling your car to a gas station employee.
According to the specialist, on the one hand, tankers are convenient, but on the other hand, the driver loses control over his vehicle. Anything can happen, from a scratch on the car to the wrong screwing of the fuel tank cap.
In addition, it also happens that, due to absent-mindedness, a gas station employee can fill in the wrong gasoline at all. Also, according to Vasiliev, it happens that the driver, thinking that the tanker has already removed the gun and closed the roof, starts moving before it actually happens.
The consequences can be catastrophic – a fire and even an explosion, and they will be followed by huge financial expenses. Therefore, it is best to refuel your car yourself, even if it takes a little longer.
“If you trust its tanker, then at least you need to carefully control that he does everything correctly and accurately,” summed up the auto expert.
