Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin will pay an official visit to China on May 23-24 to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping, the Cabinet of Ministers press service reports.
“On May 23-24, in accordance with the agreement reached with the Chinese side, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin will pay an official visit to China,” the statement said.
In addition, Mishustin will meet with Premier of China’s State Council Li Qiang and welcome his participation in the Russian-Chinese Business Forum.
It is stated that the talks will consider issues of Russian-Chinese cooperation in the trade and economic sphere. In addition, special attention will also be given to interaction in industry, energy, agriculture and many other areas.
The Russian-Chinese Business Forum will bring together leading Russian and Chinese business leaders.
The United States has previously admitted that it will not be able to stop the growing rapprochement between Russia and China.
