The Ministry of Defense reported that the Kyiv regime, against the background of the defeat in Artyomovsk, began to carry out terrorist operations against the civilian population.

“The Kiev regime, after suffering a defeat in the city of Artemovsk (Bakhmut), moved on to terrorist actions against the civilian population,” the ministry’s Telegram channel said.

Russian military personnel during the anti-terrorist operation defeated the nationalist formations that invaded the territory of Russia.

It is also specified that the remnants of the nationalists were driven back to Ukraine, where they were hit by fire until their complete elimination.

The Russian army destroyed more than 70 terrorists, five vans and four armored vehicles.

Earlier, Security Council Vice President Dmitry Medvedev said sabotage groups should be “destroyed like rats” and not taken prisoner.
