Jaipur. The Rajasthan government will open 70 new sub-health centers in the state.
According to an official statement, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved a proposal to this effect. Accordingly, 70 new sub-health centers will be opened in the state to strengthen the health infrastructure.
A post of female health worker will be created in each sub-health center for their operation. Among them, 11 in Sikar, 9 in Nagaur, 6-6 in Alwar and Karauli, five in Sawai Madhopur, four each in Bhilwara and Tonk, Three sub-health centers each will be opened in Jaipur, Churu and Rajsamand, two each in Chittorgarh, Dausa, Jalore, Jhunjhunu, Kota and Udaipur and one sub-health center each in Ajmer, Baran, Bharatpur and Pali.
It is noteworthy that the announcement was made by the Chief Minister in the budget to open sub-health centers in a phased manner, while agriculture faculty will start in 50 government higher secondary schools of the state. New posts of one agriculture lecturer per school have also been created to teach in these. According to the statement, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved the proposal to open the faculty.
Under this, eight each in Jaipur and Alwar districts, five in Ajmer district, four in Sikar district, three each in Barmer, Bhilwara, Bikaner, Dungarpur and Jhalawar districts, two each in Bundi, Jodhpur and Nagaur districts, Sriganganagar, Jaisalmer. Agriculture faculty will be started in one school each in Jalore and Pali districts. In another decision, tourism development work will be done at Jaldevji Mataji Mandir Sansera located at Railmagra in Nathdwara (Rajsamand). A financial provision of Rs 10 crore has been approved for this.
