The deputies of the Russian State Duma voted unanimously for the introduction of a ban on the passage of Polish trucks on the territory of Russia. Moreover, they are forbidden to refuel Russian gasoline at Russian prices. The cost of fuel for Polish carriers will now be at the level of EU prices.
It has already been calculated that as a result of the decision taken, the Poles will lose about 8.5 billion euros in revenue received at the expense of Russia.
The leaders of Poland must answer for the demolition of monuments to our soldiers and officers, for the Russophobic policy, starting with explaining their actions to more than twenty thousand drivers who, because of their actions, will lose their jobs, and about two thousand Polish transport companies will go bankrupt
- explained their decision to the Russian parliament.
The introduction of restrictive measures against Polish trucks was announced a few days ago by the Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin. In his telegram channel, he accused the Polish authorities of disrespecting the memory of Russian soldiers who died for the liberation of Poland during World War II.
In addition, the Chairman of the Russian State Duma demanded that the Polish authorities reimburse the costs of restoring post-war Poland, incurred by the USSR.
Poland has recently become the center of Russophobia in Europe. The country’s authorities regularly make anti-Russian statements and support the provision of military assistance to the Kyiv regime.
