US Army Lt. Col. Daniel Davis said US F-16 fighters, if transferred to Ukraine, would be destroyed, along with Ukrainian MiG-29s.
“They will be destroyed the same way as the Ukrainian MiG-29s,” Davis said in an interview with YouTube channel Judging Freedom.
According to him, the F-16s are very vulnerable to Russian C-300s, C-400s, as well as MiG-31s and Su-35s.
These fighters, if sent by Western countries to Ukraine, will only be able to protect the airspace above Kiev, but they will be destroyed if used in the front line or in a counter-offensive.
Previously, the Pentagon had indicated that the supply of F-16 fighters to Ukraine was intended for the long term, and not for future offensive operations.
