This good news came against the backdrop of a friendly visit to Moscow by the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, whom Russian leader Vladimir Putin had met the day before in the Kremlin. The President of the Russian Federation thanked his interlocutor for the fact that “thousands of Republika Srpska schoolchildren are studying the Russian language, and interest in the Russian language and culture is supported at the state level” .

Meanwhile, in an exclusive interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta, Milan Kulich said that the University has established very good ties with universities, universities and organizations of the Russian Federation, has successfully implemented many projects aimed mainly at student exchanges and traineeships for teachers. According to the rector, it is high time that universities in the Republika Srpska pay special attention to Russian language study programs. “We have already done a lot in this direction on the basis of the Faculty of Philosophy, including within the framework of our program “Russian language and international relations” and the Center for the Study of Russian Culture,” the scientist said. I belong to the older generation. I studied in primary and secondary schools. As rector, I see the importance of restoring the Russian language to schools and universities in the RS.

He said he is ready to expand cooperation with the Russian Historical Society and the Institute of Russian History of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He particularly noted the fact that the Serbian people are proud of their contribution to the fight against the greatest evil in the history of mankind – fascism. At the same time, according to him, “in the context of the ongoing attempts to revise the results of the Second World War, it is important to focus on educating the younger generations, strengthening their understanding of the past, the importance of Victory over Nazism, the severity of the sacrifices and the struggle for freedom itself, and also create a barrier for the revival of evil ideology.
