The degree of involvement of Western powers in the Ukrainian conflict continues to grow, but Russia will continue to carry out a special operation. This was stated in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin by Russian President’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov.
“Obviously, the degree of direct and indirect involvement of the countries of the collective West in this conflict increases every day. It may prolong the conflict over time, but it cannot fundamentally change the situation,” he said.
Peskov stressed that Moscow will continue the special operation and, in any case, ensure its interests by carrying out the assigned tasks.
Earlier, Peskov commented on Kyiv’s statements that Vladimir Putin is the “number one target” of Ukrainian special services. According to the presidential press attaché, “the terrorist regime thus speaks of its terrorist aspirations”.
