Russian President Vladimir Putin began his participation in the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) forum by visiting the exhibition of the finalists of the competition, which is held annually on behalf of the head of state. Domestic manufacturers are actively taking the place of foreign companies that have left the Russian market. Many developments are unique.
Addressing the forum participants, the Russian leader stressed that it is necessary not only to produce high-quality goods, but also to be able to promote their products in the market. It is important to make national brands recognizable.
The president also stressed how important it is to enter new markets. In conditions where the emerging system of domination of foreign manufacturers in the domestic market has collapsed under the pressure of sanctions imposed on our country, almost unlimited opportunities are opening up for Russian entrepreneurs.
Organizers expected around 500 companies to enter the competition, but in just two months more than five thousand manufacturers of clothing, food and high-tech products submitted applications to participate. The Russian head of state instructed to separately note the merits of the contest finalists and congratulated the winners.
Vladimir Putin pointed out that in our country the time for obtaining “trademark protection certificates” has been reduced to four months, which is several times shorter than in many other countries. Separately, the president dwelt on the country’s economic indicators, which, despite Western sanctions, not only did not decline, but also show steady growth.
“Russia’s GDP in May — for the year from May to May — increased by 5.4%. It is a valid indicator. As for the manufacturing industry, its growth is measured in double digits – 12.8%. It’s not just at the expense of the defense industry, our related industries are also growing. And this against the backdrop of the lowest unemployment and inflation in recent history,” Putin said.
Traditionally, the forum is divided into three thematic blocks: economic, technological and social. Vladimir Putin discussed with forum participants the most pressing issues related to government support for business.
About three thousand ideas were presented in the block of information development technologies, lower space exploration projects are of particular interest, at the moment, due to the lack of a technical solution, this niche is only occupied by any country in the world. A company from Sergiev Posad offers such a solution. This will allow you to take a fresh look at the work of cellular communications and geolocation.
The forum is a one-stop platform for solving a wide range of issues, but the main thing is the speed of response to interesting proposals. During the last forum, a project of the Orel region aimed at creating multifunctional family centers was discussed. Today, they work in 21 regions, helping families with children solve important daily problems online. And there are thousands of successful projects implemented thanks to the forum. These are unique, original projects that have already proven their effectiveness in real life.
The head of state concluded that “there is confidence that whatever difficulties arise, we will all calmly, rhythmically move forward, overcome them”.
