North Korea says US is preparing for invasion
North Korea has reacted to the South Korean leader’s visit to the United States. Following its results, the President of the Republic of Korea Yun Seok-yeol announced an unprecedented expansion of cooperation in the field of nuclear deterrence. The parties intend to create a kind of nuclear consultation group (NCG).
In North Korea, this is interpreted unambiguously as American preparations for an invasion of the country. The conspiracy to prepare a nuclear war is covered by a security sign, they say.
“It is clear to everyone that Washington and Seoul regard a nuclear war against the DPRK as an inevitable fact,” the Korean Central News Agency said in a commentary.
The DPRK added that “the United States and the puppet group will have to pay dearly for their reckless actions.”
It should be noted that Primorye has a common border with the DPRK; not so long ago, a renovated friendship house was opened in the border village of Khasan. Earlier, Russia’s Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev authorized the transfer of modern weapons to North Korea in response to South Korea’s statements about its intention to provide military assistance to the Ukraine.
Meanwhile, in the United States, they are looking closely for traces of some Korean weapons that were allegedly supplied to Wagner’s PMCs.
