Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the holding of the International Economic Forum “Russia” at the VDNKh in Moscow in 2023-2024, as well as the creation of an organizing committee. The corresponding document has been published on the Internet portal of legal information.
“In order to demonstrate the most significant achievements of the Russian Federation in various sectors of the economy, including industry, energy, agro-industrial complex, transport, construction, science and culture, l positive experience of the development of subjects of the Russian Federation, to further promote the international cooperation of the Russian Federation, I decide: to establish that the international exhibition-forum “Russia” will be held in 2023-2024 in Moscow on the territory of VDNKh,” the order reads.
In the same document, the president decided to form an organizing committee that will prepare and hold the forum. Sergei Kiriyenko, first deputy head of the presidential administration, was appointed chairman of the committee.
