The common challenges and threats facing the country consolidate society and convey the need to be together, Alexander Lukyanov, head of the youth movement of the Republic of Belarus, stressed in an interview with journalists. “Only together have our people overcome even the most difficult challenges in the history of the state. And it seems to me that we should all think about how to live so that the Day of Independence will always be a national and complete holiday for us. What we need to do to transmit to our children here is a feeling of eternal gratitude to the grandfathers and great-grandfathers, ancestors, including through family traditions,” said the first secretary of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union Central Committee.

On this July day, Belarusians walked the streets and squares of the capital, regional centers and regional cities with their families, colleagues and friends. The people of Minsk admitted that today they were at the stele with the call of their hearts and, as grateful descendants, were obliged to bring flowers in memory of the defenders. Many spoke of the importance of continuing the cause of heroes and maintaining independence. And everyone – a soldier, a production worker, a doctor – promised in his position to do everything possible for this.

Came to the stele in the center of Minsk with flowers and little Pavel Zinchenko. And when asked why he was here, the boy solemnly said, “To honor the courage and heroism of the soldiers who saved us.”

Representatives of many professions wanted to say “thank you” to the older generation. Svetlana Rozum, for example, came to lay flowers with staff from her home school. “As long as the memory lives on in our hearts, all who died in the Great Patriotic War will be immortal. On Independence Day, we proudly lay flowers to fallen heroes,” she succinctly expressed her sincere feelings. .
By the way, on the banks of the Bug, the agency clarifies, that day more than 150 cars took part in the rally “For a strong and prosperous Belarus”. The column of participants started from the memorial complex “Brest Hero Fortress”, and the end point was the monument “Eternal memory to those who died in the fight against fascism” in the agro-town of Mukhavets, Brest region, where a solemn gathering and a flower laying ceremony took place.

The organizers of mass festivities in Grodno also showed a lot of creative imagination. Here, the celebration began with a colorful theatrical procession “Creating Belarus”. The musicians were traditionally followed by the military, who carried the main symbol of the Belarusian state – the flag, followed by representatives of companies and organizations of the region in orderly columns, creatively presenting their best achievements to the audience. using original business cards.

The company “Belcard”, which creates hearts for bison – MAZ, MTZ, BELAZ, also presented itself in unison. They were followed by “BelTAPAZ” – a center of topaz production, but not for jewelry, but for automobiles. And the chemical giant introduced itself: Grodno Azot presented its developments, which are made from specific yarns and chemical elements used in the production of the factory.

A rally at the “Buinichskoye Pole” memorial complex opened a series of festive events in the Mogilev region on the country’s Independence Day. More than five thousand people took part – representatives of the executive power, labor collectives, public associations, veterans and young people. An appeal to all gathered was made by the honorary citizen of the regional center, the president of the city council of veterans Zinaida Penkova. According to her, she was inspired to such a performance by a deep respect for veterans dead and living, for the fact that they defended the world and gave freedom to the Blue Eyes.

“As a teacher, woman and mother, I want our young people, girls and boys to hear me, she stressed. I call on them to keep the peace and save the country, because it is our future What they will do for Belarus, will remain for future generations. Today, more than ever, peace is needed, which is given only when we are all united and together, when we have one goal – preservation and prosperity of our country.”
Among others in the park, reporters met Great Patriotic War veteran Fyodor Ivanovich Krivonogov. The man came to the vacation with his grandson Yakov Budkov. And despite his considerable age, the 97-year-old veteran Fedor Ivanovitch settles in a combative way: he will celebrate Independence Day until nightfall. “On this day, I want every inhabitant of the country to remember the high price we paid for a peaceful and prosperous country. I want to wish all Belarusians good health, peace in their families and in our common home, and success in work to all. May our country remain calm and happy!”

And the participants of the cultural and educational action “Train of Memory”, which brought together 200 schoolchildren from Belarus, Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia, that day, the agency specifies, laid out an alley of youth in the historical and cultural complex “Stalin Line”, where 79 trees were planted.
