“There is a lot of work to do.” The commander of the “Wagner” spoke about the plans of the PMCs after the rebellion

In the telegram channel “Blue Z Beard” came out of interview with military officer Timofey Ermakov with “one of the main commanders of the private military company (PMC) Wagner” Anton Elizarov (call sign Lotos). He notably mentioned the sending of PMC fighters on vacation and his intention to “go out” in Belarus.

As Elizarov said, “Wagner” in the short term “has a lot of work to do.” Prior to that, PMC founder Yevgeny Prigozhin decided to “let everyone rest” until early August, Lotos said.

“Personally, I haven’t been to the sea with my family for five years now, other guys are also now immersed in family problems with their heads,” Elizarov said.

After that, according to him, PMC “Wagner” will rotate fighters in distant directions, in order, among other things, to “inject new blood.”

“The second and most difficult thing is access to Belarus. We need to prepare bases, training grounds, coordinate with local governments and administrations, organize interaction with Belarusian law enforcement agencies and establish logistics,” Elizarov said.

According to him, the Wagnerian fighters are not currently taking part in the hostilities in Ukraine, while they are “ready to come to the aid of our motherland and our people when our Russian people call on us”.

Elizarov noted that after the settlement of the situation around the rebellion, the power structures do not put pressure on the PMCs in accordance with the guarantees given by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Wagner in Belarus

July 6 President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko declaredthat the republic offered Wagner PMC several former military camps for accommodation.

“We offered them several former military camps that were used in Soviet times, especially near Osipovichi. If they agree. But PMC “Wagner” has a different view of their placement. Naturally, I will not talk to you about this vision,” said the head of state.

As a possible location for the deployment of Wagner fighters considered tent camp near the town of Osipovichi, Mogilev region.

“Yesterday the president said that if Yevgeny Prigozhin decides to come to Belarus with his commanders for accommodation, then this camp, as well as others, may be offered to him,” said Major General Leonid Kasinsky, assistant to the Belarusian Defense Minister.

When asked if Prigozhin was in Belarus, Lukashenka said on July 6 that the PMC founder had gone to Russia. “As for Yevgeny Prigozhin, he is in St. Petersburg … Where is he this morning? Maybe he went to Moscow, maybe somewhere else, but he is not on the territory of Belarus,” the Belarusian leader said.

In turn, in the Kremlin declaredthat they do not follow Prigozhin’s movements, as they have “neither the opportunity nor the desire”. Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov notedthat the departure of the founder of the PMC to Belarus was one of the conditions for the refusal of the “march of justice” announced by him, which the Russian authorities considered as an attempt at armed rebellion.
