Taylor Swift made her Academy Museum Gala debut on Saturday night in a pale blue Dior ballgown, then closed the Los Angeles fundraiser with a live set after the museum honored John Carpenter, Charlize Theron and Colman Domingo.

The sixth annual gala at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures on Miracle Mile gave Carpenter the Luminary Award, Theron the Icon Award and Domingo the Vantage Award, according to Deadline. The museum said the evening, held in partnership with Rolex, raises support for its exhibitions, screenings and education programs.

Swift, 36, wore a custom strapless gown by Jonathan Anderson for Dior, with a crystal-covered bow at the bodice, Elle reported. She paired it with platinum Chopard earrings carrying 32.40 carats of diamonds. Anderson also designed the Dior gown she wore earlier this year when she married Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden.

The museum had kept her set list private, according to Elle. Harper’s Bazaar reported that she performed “I Knew It, I Knew You,” her song from the Toy Story 5 soundtrack. The Express Tribune reported that she also gave “The Fate of Ophelia” its first live acoustic performance and played “Love Story” and “Blank Space.” Those song details came from individual outlets rather than from a museum announcement.

When the museum announced her appearance, director and president Amy Homma called Swift an “extraordinary talent whose work resonates around the world,” Harper’s Bazaar reported.

The guest list drew from film, music and fashion. Deadline said the gala’s co-chairs included Robert Rodriguez, Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw, while the host committee featured Seth Rogen, Teyana Taylor, Jessica Alba, Judd Apatow, Adrien Brody, Kirsten Dunst, Kate Hudson and Demi Moore.

Mia Goth, Pamela Anderson, Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, Naomi Ackie, Cailee Spaeny, Hunter Schafer and Jennifer Hudson were among the guests on the carpet, according to The Hollywood Reporter’s gallery. Harper’s Bazaar also listed Sabrina Carpenter, Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner, Andrew Garfield and Eddie Redmayne among the looks it photographed.

W Magazine called the event the “Met Gala of the West.” Last year’s edition produced one of the carpet’s most talked-about moments, when Kim Kardashian’s masked couture drew attention.
