LOS ANGELES — Nicole Kidman, Kim Kardashian, Anya Taylor-Joy and Andrew Garfield joined stars from film, music and fashion at the 2026 LACMA Art+Film Gala on Saturday, November 7, as the Los Angeles County Museum of Art celebrated artist Vija Celmins and filmmaker Denis Villeneuve.

The museum’s fifteenth annual gala brought together supporters of its film programming and wider cultural mission. LACMA trustee Eva Chow and actor Leonardo DiCaprio returned as co-chairs for the fifteenth consecutive year, according to the museum’s event announcement.

Hollywood and music stars join the arrivals

Kylie Jenner, Julia Garner, Salma Hayek Pinault, Viola Davis, Paris Hilton, Brittany Snow and Ashley Park were among the guests documented in red-carpet coverage. WWD’s arrival photographs also showed artists and figures from the museum and fashion worlds alongside the actors.

The international guest list included BLACKPINK’s Rosé, aespa member Ningning and actor Park Bo-gum, according to Manila Bulletin. Their appearances added a Korean entertainment presence to an evening spanning several creative industries.

Nicole Kidman and Anya Taylor-Joy lead fashion highlights

Nicole Kidman wore Chanel, while Anya Taylor-Joy appeared in Pierre Cardin. Julia Garner chose Loewe and Paris Hilton wore Jenny Packham, according to Harper’s Bazaar’s red-carpet report.

Gucci featured prominently among the arrivals, with Kim Kardashian, Salma Hayek Pinault, Viola Davis, Sarah Paulson and Andrew Garfield wearing the label. Rosé wore Saint Laurent, while Brittany Snow chose Ralph Lauren.

The variety of looks placed established fashion houses alongside individual red-carpet statements. The clothing was a visible part of the evening, but the event’s central purpose remained recognition of achievement in the visual arts and cinema.

Vija Celmins and Denis Villeneuve receive honors

LACMA selected Celmins for work exploring the beauty and complexity of the natural world through meticulous detail. The museum described her as one of the most respected artists of her generation.

Villeneuve was recognized for visually striking, thought-provoking filmmaking, including the Dune series. The pairing of an artist and a filmmaker reflected the gala’s focus on connections between cinematic storytelling and the visual arts.

An evening supporting the museum’s film mission

The annual gathering supports efforts to make film more central to LACMA’s curatorial programming while also funding its broader mission. Its guest list brings together patrons and public figures from art, film, fashion and entertainment around that shared purpose.

The 2026 edition continued that format: a celebrity-filled red carpet alongside recognition of Celmins and Villeneuve, with Chow and DiCaprio again leading the event as co-chairs.
