Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said special services “brilliantly” arrested the terrorists in Grodno. At the same time, he expressed concern about the state of military discipline, BelTA informs.

It will be clarified that the arrest was made by the Alpha group, following which weapons and explosives were seized.

According to Belarusian security officials, it was to carry out terrorist attacks against officials and citizens.

The president also pointed out that no member of the Alpha group had been killed.

“This is another signal for us. We have to be ready for any event,” Lukashenko added.

In addition, the president criticized the Belarusian army for the lack of military discipline, according to him, “everything is not going well with it.” The President is alarmed by the facts of crimes among the soldiers, including the officers of various law enforcement agencies.

Earlier it was reported that in Belarus, in the city of Grodno, during the provision of armed resistance to the KGB special forces, a foreign citizen who was planning a terrorist attack was liquidated.
