In three months of 2023, anti-corruption laws were violated 400 times in the Arctic

In the Murmansk region, the results of anti-corruption work for the first quarter of 2023 were announced. It turned out that during the reporting period in the Arctic about 400 times violated the relevant legislation.

As regards the officials responsible, 260 response documents have been filed. The regional courts considered 12 administrative cases. According to their results, the northerners paid a fine of 500,000 rubles. Four criminal cases were also initiated for corruption issues.

According to the press service of the prosecutor’s office of the Murmansk region, in the last three months of 2023, in the Kola Territory, proceedings were completed on some executive documents of previous years. Of these cases, more than 21.1 million rubles were recovered from residents of the North.

Now in the Arctic, work continues to fight corruption. The ministry noted that these activities remain a priority.
