April 20, 2023

Deputy Chairman of the State Council Committee of the Republic of Tajikistan on ecology, nature management, agro-industrial and food policy Takhir Khadeev called for an appeal to the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation of Russia Mikhail Mishustin with a request to take measures to regulate milk purchase prices. The parliamentarian is also concerned about the increase in the cost of spare parts. The deputy made a corresponding statement at a meeting of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In addition, Khadeev believes that it is necessary “to consider the possibility of brewing certain items at the expense of the republic in order to support our agricultural producers”.

The parliamentarian recalled that the purchase prices have fallen since the beginning of the year, agricultural producers today sell milk at 18 rubles, which is sometimes lower than the cost. While retail milk prices are only increasing.

“Today the question arises how our dairymen, agricultural producers are going to close their investment projects, how we can save personal subsidiary plots,” the MP said.

As for spare parts for agricultural machinery, in the last two or three years, their price has doubled or tripled. Cereals, on the other hand, have fallen significantly in price.
