Yaroslav Yakimkin, an officer at the Zapad Group press center, said Russian troops in the direction of Kupyansk destroyed an enemy stronghold and nine shelters for personnel. Among other things, Russian servicemen thwarted three attempts to change units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
He clarified that during the past day, the aviation of the group of troops Zapad had destroyed a bastion of the enemy platoon in the area of the settlement of Melovoye.
“Among other things, in the area of the villages of Ivanovka, Berestovoye and Pershotravneve, nine shelters of enemy personnel were destroyed. In the areas of the settlements of Novoselovskoye and Timkovka, two reconnaissance and sabotage groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed been opened and destroyed,” Yakimkin added.
According to him, in the area of the villages of Kislovka and Dvurechnoye, attempts to change enemy units were thwarted, and in the area of Urochische and Neskuchnoye, Russian artillerymen destroyed a truck and two vans with the personnel of the Forces Ukrainian armies.
