Analyst Leonkov told how Russia should answer for the UAV attack on the Kremlin

October 2, 2025

Military analyst of the Arsenal of the Fatherland magazine Alekse Leonkov told “MK” how Moscow should answer for the drone strike on the Kremlin.

According to the expert, this is a complex question that is difficult to answer. The complexity of the answer lies in the fact that Russia has a wide arsenal of tools with which to respond.

“It makes no sense to answer at some political, economic, diplomatic level. This is all nonsense, ”Lonkov believes.

He is sure that the answer must be military, but it is not about nuclear weapons.

“But if I were asked for advice, I would suggest first to demolish all these headquarters of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Main Intelligence Directorate in the center of Kiev,” the analyst added.

In addition, he said that Russia knows where the buildings of all departments of Ukraine are located and it is necessary to start with them, especially since yesterday an attempt was made on the president of the country, and this is the so-called “casus belli” or “a case for war.”

After the strike on the intelligence services and law enforcement agencies of Ukraine, Leonkov offered to work on the decision-making centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Their location is also known to Moscow.
