Ruhpolding – The World Biathlon Association IBU and the German Ski Association are currently still assuming that the summer World Cup for ski hunters will be held in Ruhpolding in Bavaria.
As both organizations announced at the request of the German Press Agency, however, it was still too early to make a final decision for the World Cup, which took place from August 19 to 23 with as many top athletes as possible, due to the current difficult situation with the coronavirus pandemic on roller skis in the Chiemgau Arena. “An update is planned for the beginning of May,” said the IBU, which also said: “We are in close contact with the organizers in Ruhpolding.”
