The President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, still has corona, the White House confirmed.
Namely, after a new test that was done this morning, Biden is again positive for Covid-19, even though he had recovered from the virus.
Biden’s doctor admitted that he probably suffered a so-called paxlovid “rebound” infection, which can happen in patients who received the Pfizer antiviral pill in therapy.
His positive test was announced by White House physician Kevin O’Connor, who stated that Biden has tested negative every day since Tuesday, but that he will go into isolation again after a positive result on Saturday morning.
Before Tuesday’s negative test, Biden worked in isolation at the White House for five days while suffering from mild symptoms.
His doctor said that he is not experiencing any symptoms, but that he will be in isolation at the White House.
