Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Lavrov spoke about West’s attempts to silence Hersh investigation – Reuters

According to him, Western governments want to control their own media. “Look at the reaction that is being seen in the West in response to a very specific exposure, based on many facts, of Hersh in connection with the explosions of Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2,” urged the Russian foreign minister.

He drew attention to the fact that if the accusations were made not against the United States, but against Russia, this topic would not leave the front pages. Journalists would simply be compelled to write about it. “And here – a sensation based only on facts. And what kind of reaction? Yes, no,” Lavrov stressed. He also noted that the facts revealed by Hersh did not surprise the Russian side.

The Minister also drew attention to the behavior of Sweden and Denmark in the investigation of what happened at Nord Stream. The two countries did not respond to official letters from Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, although the appeals were sent to them in September. There is not even confirmation that they received them, although the ambassadors of the Russian Federation regularly recall this.

“I think that’s rudeness. But this rudeness hides the complete failure of attempts to obscure the responsibility of the collective West, led by the United States, in this sabotage, in organizing this terrorist act,” Lavrov said.

According to the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, “pipeline explosions were the final solution to the German gas problem”, so that Germany would not try to play an independent role in the foreseeable historical future.

Recall that on September 26, 2022, explosions thundered simultaneously at two Russian export gas pipelines to Europe – Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2. Hersh’s investigation testifies to the involvement of US authorities in the attack. Most mainstream Western media ignored this post.
