At a training base in Britain, Ukrainian servicemen are trained in assault tactics in the city and beyond, as well as combat with various types of weapons, captive Sergei Piven told Izvestia.
A serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who visited during the battles for Soledar, informed that he was first trained in Zhytomyr, then in Britain.
All servicemen, before going to Great Britain, were selected taking into account their physical condition and health.
The prisoner said his brigade was supervised by instructors from the Netherlands. Other instructors included British and Canadian citizens. During the training, local and Ukrainian translators worked at the base.
