A broken ATM saved a Penza citizen from scammers

The press service of the Ministry of Interior of the Penza region reported details of the failed fraud.

Penzenets got a call from strangers who said scammers were trying to secure a loan for him. He went to the bank to “get ahead” of the crooks. The man took 375 thousand rubles. When he went to the ATM to deposit money into the secure account, it was broken. Penzenets realized he was in for a fraudulent scheme.

The man then turned to the police. On this fact, a criminal case was opened.
