Kareliastat spoke about the increase in prices for bananas and apples

Kareliastat has shared updated information on the development of food prices from February 21 to 27.

Thus, the price of beets fell by 5%. Cucumber prices also fell by 4.0% and carrot prices by 2.8%. At the same time, prices for potatoes increased by 2.0%, tomatoes by 1.7% and onions by 1.5%. Fruit is also not planning a price drop: bananas and apples are now 1.4% more expensive.

As for other food products, in Karelia semi-smoked and boiled-smoked sausages, as well as salt by 2.4%, increased by 4.7%. In the same list, canned vegetables for babies (1.4%), margarine and milk (1.1%). But the cost of sour cream has fallen by 4.4%, the price of pasta has fallen by 1.7% and frozen fish is now cheaper by 1.2%.
