Thus, law enforcement officers received information that a 41-year-old resident of Apatity, who works as a taxi driver, is associated with drug trafficking.
The man’s car was stopped by traffic officers near one of the houses on Fersman Street. During a search of the vehicle, six packages containing an unidentified powdery substance were found, which were sent for examination.
Analysis confirmed that the powder was a narcotic of synthetic origin weighing over 1.3 grams, which is a significant size.
A criminal case was opened against the perpetrator under part 3 of article 30 of part 4 of article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, at present the man was arrested . He faces a prison sentence of ten to twenty years.
