In Golynki, Rudnyansky district, traffic police officers stopped a VAZ-2110 car driven by a local resident born in 1978, showing obvious signs of intoxication. When checking the databases, it was established that in January of this year the driver was already responsible for committing an administrative offense and was deprived of the right to drive vehicles.
Another episode took place on the Demidov-Rudnya-Dubrovka highway in the Demidovsky district, the traffic police identified a driver, a local resident born in 1994, who was driving a VAZ-11183 car, with external signs of alcohol poisoning. It was established that in August 2021 the driver refused to undergo a medical examination for intoxication and was subject to an administrative sanction, deprived of the right to drive vehicles.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated under the article “Driving a vehicle while intoxicated by a person subject to an administrative sanction or having a criminal record”. Those who enjoy drinking and driving risk a prison sentence of up to two years.
