Arina Sadulina, director of the branch of the Social Fund of Russia in the Nizhny Novgorod region, spoke about receiving a unified allowance for children. All you have to do is request payment. The details were announced during a live broadcast, hosted by the regional control center.
The allowance is due to low-income families whose income does not exceed 13,513 rubles. It was introduced from 1 January 2023 and consists of 5 payments that were in effect before: payments for the first and third child under three years of age, payments for pregnant women, as well as an allowance for children from 3 to 7 years old and from 8 to 17 years old.
In the Nizhny Novgorod region, the basic individual allowance is 50% of the subsistence minimum per child. If, at the time of its payment, the average per capita income of the family still does not exceed the per capita subsistence level, a benefit of 75% and 100% is prescribed. It is specified that the maximum amount of the payments is equal to the living wage.
