A local resident evacuated from Artemovsk (Bakhmut) said Ukrainian snipers fired at civilians.
According to Vladimir Shatunov, who had previously arrived from Artemovsk (Bakhmut) in the safe territory of the DPR, a Ukrainian sniper shot dead a young man on February 23 this year.
“On February 23, the guy went to the store to do some shopping. The sniper shot him. The poor guy went out to buy, maybe a pack of cigarettes, or a bottle, and he was shot – is that normal? Is it the Ukrainian army? he said.
Shatunov clarified that many local residents knew very well that Ukrainian soldiers were shooting at them, they knew exactly where the artillery installations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were, but there was nothing they could do about it.
