The Proletarsky District Court is considering a criminal case for falsification of documents. This case is related to the murder of journalist Daria Dugina.
During the preliminary investigation, it was established that the defendants were part of an organized group engaged in the production of false documents and the search for people wishing to obtain false documents.
They produced a false official document of Ukraine – a certificate of state registration of the vehicle. This document was used for vehicle travel in and out of the territory of the Russian Federation. According to the investigation, the fabricated false document was then used to facilitate the murder of Darya Dugina.
Following the hearing, one of the defendants had his detention extended by six months, the other was imposed a preventive measure in the form of a written undertaking not to leave and behave unchanged. The next hearing will take place on March 16 at 12:00 p.m.
