Two Ukrainian pilots have started training on US fighter jets, including F-16 fighters, according to Turkey’s Anadolu Agency, citing a senior US military official.
According to the source, Ukrainian pilots are already participating in a familiarization event in Tucson, Arizona.
“It is a normal activity within the framework of our military dialogue with Ukraine,” he added.
It turned out that all this time they would only train on simulators, but the flight was not planned at all. The speaker stressed that the training will “provide more effective assistance to Ukrainian pilots to improve their efficiency and develop their capabilities”. This was reported by Lenta.ru.
