Tinkoff Bank temporarily suspends money transfers to Turkey due to sanctions. “Unfortunately, we cannot send transfers to this country. Due to the sanctions imposed, SWIFT transfers may be frozen by the counterparty bank,” Tinkoff Bank’s help desk told TASS. Tinkoff Bank was not disconnected from SWIFT, but it did fall under sanctions that prohibit counterparties in the European Union from cooperating with it.Currently, Tinkoff Bank transfers rubles to Tajikistan, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. At the same time, transfers can only be made to certain banks.Previously, Tinkoff gave recommendations to customers after the app was removed from the App Store.
