Qatar e-Government Portal (Hukoomi) has published through its official account on the Twitter platform, how to easily request a parking permit from the Ministry of Interior for people with disabilities, and there are no fees for this service.
This service allows individuals to submit a request to the General Traffic Department at the Ministry of Interior to take advantage of the parking lots designated for people with disabilities and obtain permits for those parking spaces. This service also allows users to renew or amend the permits, as well as re-evaluate the applications in case of rejection.
And the portal indicated via Twitter that all you have to do is log in to the electronic services portal of the Ministry of Interior or the Metrash2 application, and follow the following steps:
Submit the application electronically
• Log in with the smart card to the e-services portal of the Ministry of Interior. • to choose "Traffic services" then "Parking for people with special needs". • Submitting a permit application for the user himself or for one of his relatives by entering the personal number of the relative and filling in all the required data. • Attach a detailed medical report and a medical certificate.
