The Ministry of Culture participates in the second edition of the festival "Me and my child" allocated to the family, which comes as part of an initiative " Qatar reads"at the Celebration Square in Education City. The festival is a valuable opportunity to meet families and children in a relaxed and active environment. In addition, the festival includes the participation of 20 shops to display various products for the family, and a theater area to talk about parenting and motherhood.

The total number of participating parties in the festival reached 24, including local libraries, publishing and distribution houses, including Dar Al Sharq – Dar Hamad Bin Khalifa University – Dar Rosa – Dar Al-Wated – Dar Nabjah – Katateeb – Alef Library – Kalimat Library), in addition to the Ministry’s pavilion. Culture, which is supervised by the Ministry’s Qatari Publishers and Distributors Forum. The Ministry of Culture participates in the festival "Me and my child" With its vision to promote cultural exchange and strengthen community ties, and create important opportunities to meet and learn about Qatari culture and its various traditions, through the interactive activities presented by the Ministry of Culture’s exhibition for children, holding story sessions, organizing arts and crafts workshops, and performances of the most prominent Qatari songs and folk songs. , which is imbued with the spirit of the ancient Qatari heritage.

The Director of the Qatari Publishers and Distributors Forum, Mr. Riyad Yassin, expressed his happiness with the participation of the Ministry of Culture in this important family cultural event. And he said: "We are glad to be part of a festival "Me and my child"which enhances family values ​​and cultural awareness among families, and we look forward to other cultural participations that contribute to the advancement of society’s awareness and interest in family culture". The Ministry of Culture has previously invited all families in Qatar to attend an event "Me and my child".
